Departures

A lot of friends said this is a sad movie. You will end up crying after watching. Ha... But eventually we end up laughing.

You know, there are some parts whereby it is funny, so it doesn't matter if we laugh. But then, there are also some parts suppose to shed tears, Ango starts to giggle! So I end up giggling with him. Uncle Tan keep remind us to keep silent.

The movie is actually filming about a cellist whom lost his job but end up became an undertaker. Undertaker's job is to dress the dead nicely before they go on for their last journey. Simply to say, the are the make-ups specialist for the dead.

Therefore in this show, you will be encountering a lot of scenes where people lost their love ones. See, upon hearing this, you will know that it is a sad movie. But I still dun understand which part can lead Ango to giggle... Think of the whole cinema when you can even hear audiences sniffing and then only 2 guys laughing at one corner. It's not my fault! He influenced me!

Okay, then Daigo Kobayashi, the undertaker, is actually a abandoned child. He was abandoned by his father when he was 6 years old. That's why, he dislike his father so much. And in the end, the most ironic thing is that the last person in the movie that he need to attend is his father. He only get to see his father when he was informed that his father has died. I should have guessed. Initially I thought his sensei will be the one he will attend.

There was one scene I like the most. It was when Daigo played his cello on top of the hills. You know, seriously I was mesmerize by that scene. Indeed, it was beautiful... That moment, I wish to learn cello too!

A very nice movie I can say. Taught me to understand that death is not as scary... And no matter what, family is the most important thing on earth.
