My Way

No need to follow what other people say. No need to bother what comes may. No need to react how does it lay.

I will just smile and do it my way.

I will find my way,
I want a different way.
Until the wind and rain,
There will be a brand new day.

I will find my way,
I want a different way.
Nothing can stop me now,
No matter what they say.

My Playlist

Music! Makes the people, come together~

Only when I board the train and nothing to do so I plug in my ears with some music. I made a playlist, those that I preferred.

1. 雨爱 - 杨丞琳
A song from the Taiwan Idol Drama 海派甜心。I never watch this on deliberate. Just that every weekend whenever I on the TV this show comes around. Can hear that the singer make an effort to sing this song, and compared to the previous songs from her, she really improved on her singing. Thumbs up!

2. New Soul - Yael Naim
Yael Naim was born in Paris in 1978 to Tunisian. This song was recommended by Skitty. I like the lyrics. Sad to say, she's not really that pretty but who cares? Now days the criteria in the music industry is not about looks.

3. Happy - Leona Lewis
Nothing particular, just that it reminds me to be happy! I just want to be, HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!

4. Hana - Orange Range
Very motivating. Hana means flower in Japan. I went to look up for the translation and found out that this song is from a Japanese movie called 一公升的眼泪. A bit of translating:

花びらのように散りゆく中で
夢みたいに 君に出逢えたキセキ

Like flowers scattering, like a dream the miracle that I met you.

5. My Love Will Get You Home - Christine Glass
From Hong Kong drama, Moonlight Resonance. Very soothing and comfortable. No background instruments, purely vocal.

6. Eh, Eh, (Nothing Else I Can Say) - Lady Gaga
Haha! This is cute! Cherry cherry boom boom! This is where it comes from.

7. 爱你等于爱自己 - 王力宏
Power... I use to listen to this song when I'm still a teenage dirt bag. No MTV but a live version of his.

8. Love Is All Around - Wet Wet Wet
1990s. Old school to me.

9. 青花瓷 - 周杰伦
Even though it's a Chinese song but it takes time to understand what does the lyrics mean. Not bad. The song from Jay that I like most.

10. 雨天 - 孙燕姿
Needles to say, all time favorite.

夜宴

Ahem..

I just finished watching this Chinese movie called 夜宴, although the CNY holiday ends today and tomorrow shall be the day of toll.

It's an art. To have this kind of movie is an art. To watch this kind of movie is an art. A human's thought can be both easily transparent and complicated. A human's mind can be both sincerely pure and vicious.

And I had willingly to stay up late to finish this movie.

When the Spring has arrived...

炮竹一声大地回春! 劈哩啪啦啪啦啦!

Okay, another year of CNY. The year of the Tiger! ROAR! I was born at the year of the Tiger! ROAR another time!

Tigger! My favorite character in Winnie the Pooh

The reunion dinner was really disappointing, Mr Ng forgot to buy meat. So the whole family was like eating green all the way. After that I went to meet 4 stars. Yes, the one and only cliche in my Poly years. We have mahjong. Sad to say, our only common interest. Haha.. And our Princess J is getting married this year, so in advance we congratulate her. Hmm... 7 years ago she was still a typical Ah Lian but now, shes getting married. So come to think of it, we knew each other for 7 years already. *Sigh... Haha! I mean, its a good thing to know someone for 7 years and still keep in close contact. (Photos are still pending. Princess J if you happen to see this please upload the photo fast. K thanks bye!)

Nah photos!

Forgot to mention, we were there also to celebrate Noelle's Birthday

This kind of 4 stars together photo is rare

This kind of 4 star together unglamorous photo is more rare

I still dunno what is this for

As long as she's satisfied what we gave her is more important

The first day of CNY the whole family visit Ah Ma House, my maternal grandmother house. Since young I used to call "Ah Ma House" as a place where my Ah Ma stay. She's getting old. Then she look at me and said, "Ah Da ar.. ai seng ban luk mai?" Yeah, "Ah Da" was my nick since young, "ban luk" is Black Jack. So she was asking me wanna play Black Jack with her. She sounds weak but frantic. I heard that she was admitted in hospital last year. Well, Ah Ma, to your good health, hope that you are healthy all the times.

So cousins were gathered here during this period. Then the eldest cousin of mine asked me this question,
C = Cousin, R = Me

C "So you still in army?"

R "No, I have ORDed.."

C "Serious? I thought you are still in army? Oh my, I always thought you are 18.."

R "I'm, 24."

C "Oh, so you riding bike?"

("DO I LOOK LIKE A MAT TO YOU?!")
But I din say, he always thought that I ride bike. Oh ya, mat is a Malay word that describe Malay gangster.

R "Haha.. I'm not riding bike. (Not in the past, the present nor the future!)" I fake a smile and somehow annoyed.

I hate having conversations with my elder cousins. They like to assume things. But I love my younger cousins, niece and nephew! I brought my niece and nephew for a movie.

Suitable for kids, but this show sucks.

Okay, so CNY is something like that. Meet with the relatives once a year unless for special occasions. Those that you seldom chat with. Then when they ask you stupid question like "Oh so when you bringing your girlfriend let Ah Ma see?" Yeah and question like, "Working or studying?" And worst still, got other question like, "This year 24! Next year you are getting married!" Hahahhahahahhaahhahahha................... Then they all laugh. Not funny.

But still, CNY is enjoyable.

Cherry Cherry Boom Boom!

This is the vase of roses that I heart. It suits the occasion when CNY and valentine fall on the same day. And the good thing is, this vase is in my house! Haha!!

HAPPY CNY TO ALL!

We are Golden!

The year 2010 CNY, and Bravo proudly presents:

We are not what you think we are! We are Golden! We are Golden!

Bravo dreams in a Bravo circus
Running around like a soldier on purpose
Who gives a damn whether you are not present?
No giving up when we're young and we want some!

Of course it went well... But last year was still better.

11.18pm

I cannot believe that I'm doing this right now, at this hour.

I brought back my work load and have to finish up before I start work tomorrow. I think this is serious, as in, bringing back work load to do at home is totally a loser! It shows that you are not efficient enough because you can't finish your work during working hours. This is the first time and I'm worried there will be a second time.

And then you have to tally up your work and the number of products that you tally is around 2000++. And then your materials and resources are limited. And then you do your tabulation wrong and you have to start all over again. And then your school assignment is due at the following Wednesday. And then you still have not yet book for your IPPT. And then you are hungry and you feel like eating pineapple tarts but that pineapple tarts container is sealed with DUNNO WHAT TYPE OF TAPE AND YOU CANNOT OPEN IT!!!!!!!!

Irritating... Very irritating.

But, at least you realize that the wind outside is blowing and when it brushes your hair you feel very relax. At least your colleagues are nice and help you in the tabulation. At least your course mates are helpful and diligent so that the assignment is around 50% done. At least there's a stadium near your house and you can train your running every Sunday. At least you still have pineapple tarts at your dinning table.

At least la.. Better than nothing.

Then what are you doing now? I guess you are sleeping...

Hmph..
