My childhood

I remember this when I was 5 years old... When I was still somewhere suckling my thumb during my kindergarten class. My teacher appointed me to take part in a role play. I think is it because of some event or function or whatsoever that's why my school will invite all parents to come and see that play.

The play is called 拔萝卜. A Chinese nursery song that something to do with pulling out the carrot. The characters were:

Grandfather,
Grandmother,
Father,
Mother,
Brother,
Sister,
a dog,
a cat and...
a rabbit.
Oh and a tree! With two branches!

So, as you can see, my teacher wanted me to play the role of the rabbit. Yes, it was lame. But that time, when a teacher appointed somebody, the somebody will not have any rights to reject it. See~ I was brought up by an autocratic environment. Then that day I went home and told my mum. My teacher called and requested my mother to make a rabbit costume for that play because she knew that my mum is a seamstress.

So that day came. Seriously I was not excited at all. Whats that to be excited anyway. In fact, I felt embarrassing. My mum did a good job on that rabbit costume but the fluffy tail of that costume just won't stick on its place. So my teacher made me wear another costume that is more fugly.. You know the word, and you know what it means..

Then the play started. I remember the song goes something like this:

拔萝卜， 拔萝卜，嘿哟嘿哟拔不动！
老太婆， 帮帮忙， 快来帮我拔萝卜。。。
(Sang by the whole class.)

So the first person to pull that carrot was Grandpa, and he failed so he called upon Grandma to help. Then they failed and they called Father to help. So on and on until the last character which was me! The rabbit!

Then when was my turn to help, we simulate a bit of action, and then:

萝卜终于拔出来！！！
(Yeah, sang by the whole class, and follow up with applause.)

I still remember how I reacted. Completely lifeless. Grandpa, Grandma and all other characters were happy and laughing away. The Cat beside me still thinks that she was a Catwoman.

eh eh.. nothing else I can say.

Since born, the yellow flower is floating. Then eventually it reaches the earth. The journey starts from here.

I'm 24 years old now. I know what is wrong and what is right. It may seem difficult to survive. I know. I actually wanted to quit school. I told myself if I fail either one of the subject I may forgo about the degree I'm taking. Sometimes, it is hard to please everyone. You know I'm not smart. I really hope that I can push the time forward. To see 5 years later what I'm doing. 10 years later, if I'm still the same. Then think again, life is about to cherish every now and then. Even though the time is hard to move on but at least there's still memories for me to look at.

To all who stay beside me, I appreciate, I conjure up. To those who had drifted away, I'm sad, I dampen. Well, people come and go. I reckon that.

It's late now, I'm going to bed.

Never renounce!

Some may see me unfaze in any other way but deep inside of me I feeling beleaguer. Supposingly, life is a choice. I second. But it's not easy to choose what colours I want. All I can say is that I'm a person that follow what my heart says instead of my mind. Alright, to be more define, I have an low emotional quotient.

I know, I know.. Times are hard. What comes next is still a mystery and left for me to incite my future. I will hence bite my lips through till the finishing line.

Man VS Man

Man: Ironman



The Wow-effect: Mainly his suit. This suit can do almost everything. The most wow thing on this suit is that Ironman does not need to go to the washroom. He can just pee inside and the suit can vaporize his urine... Wow!

Specialty: Beam from his face-palm. Once he shows you the face-palm means you must run. And this episode, he got a new skill. His laser that comes out dunno from where and slices everything into halves.

Sidekick: War Machine. A modified Ironman. With all sorts of weapons that mount onto the new suit. War Machine is a awesome kick-ass. But I think he should go for re-coloring.. Ironman is more colorful and friendly. Haha..

Baddies have a kind of face: Another scientist. Swore to take revenge on Ironman because of his Father. Aww.. Sounds boring. Villains always use parents as an excuse. Why can't they be more independent?

Overall Superhero effect:
Of course he is consider a Superhero. He can protect the world with his created weapons. Although his inventions is also a threat to the US Army organizations but they can't expect more, he can save the world.

Man: Ip Man




The Wow-effect: Ip Man has no problem on 1 on 20, with or without weapon.

Specialty: Wing Chun. Created from a lady called Wing Chun. It mainly is base on one's focus, balance, speed and fast reflexes. The bullet punches is one of the specialty, it is even faster than those hawker that selling ba chou mee when you see them mincing the meat with their chopper!

Sidekick: Fatso. Another martial art teacher that specialize in his heavy and sturdy fists. His ultimate skill I see so far is his "crab fist". Yeah, it did make an impact on the baddies and the audiences too.

Baddies have a kind of face: Ang mohs. The thinks Chinese are weak. In the end, Ip Man shows them who's weaker.

Overall Superhero effect:
Needless to say! He defended the integrity and pride of every Chinese! He showed the ang mohs who are the real martial arts champion. Till today, he is very well respected. At least he is real. Ironman is not. But sad to say there's no action figurine of Ip Man's but Ironman does.

Where is everyone?!

One day you woke up and you find yourself in wonderland. You search for familiar faces but all you see is pink rabbits.

(Hey! Why pink?)

Oh... Okay, you woke up what you see is turquoise frogs.

(Why so exotic? Change!)

Okay... You woke up and what you see is butterflies and balloons. Then you are in the middle of the street and happen that you pass by a shop that sell sweets and lollipops. Of course you went in because you love stuffs that are sweet.

But there's no one around you. You held your hand in to your pocket and reach for your phone. You dialed your friends but no one answer.. You have no other choices but to share this happy moment yourself. Yeah, it sounds great. The lollipops may sweeten up your life the butterflies can brighten up your mood but only for a short while.

You look at the time, and you know that it's late. Then you start to think that you are wasting your time here. The more you wander around the more you feeling afraid.

Where is everyone?!

每一次

Dun ever doubt my Chinese! I got lots of A1 for Chinese during my secondary education okay!

每一次这个时候都觉得有点冷。 明明是大热天但还是有点颤抖。

每一次看看星座写什麽都觉得它说的是对的。 明明知道知是巧合但还是会相信。 然后就回莫名的开心。

每一次搭车的时候都想要坐下来 ，但是又不敢坐。 因为怕被人会觉得我很弱！

我的每一次总是发生在每一天， 都会是一样。久而久之，不知不觉，已经过了好几个每一次了。

其实每一次都是好事。

I'm Educated

Then that day I went for my dental appointment...

There was this young chap. Around 15yrs old. He was wearing quite hip. Meaning, from the first look you can say that he's holding a golden spoon. He was behind my queue

I waited around 1 hour before my turn. Of course he waited longer. Then here came his Mother...

Mother: "Marcus, why you still here?"

Marcus: "Yea, that fellow ask me to come at 7pm and I waited for around 1 plus hour." At the same time playing his iphone.

(Fellow? You called the receptionist fellow? What the...)

Mother: "She let you waited for so long?"

Mother then went knocking on the receptionist desk

"Hello... How long more? Why he waited for so long?"

Receptionist: "Yes, at this time is the peak hour, there will be quite a number of customer. He should come earlier to avoid the crowd."

Mother: "SCHOOL LEH!"

(What's wrong with you!? That receptionist called your son to come at 7pm but he was came around 730pm! Isn't that obvious enough to think that he have to wait longer?! Can't you see there are also patients waiting?)

The education for the generation has somehow gone hay wire. I'm quite disappointed but on the other hand relieve. Because I know that I'm more educated than the both of them.
